RISD GRAPHIC DESIGN MFA THESIS WEBSITE

Website, 2019


This website showcases all thesis books of the Graphic Design MFA class of 2019 at Rhode Island School of Design.
The website was designed as part of the physical show held in June 2019 in Providence.
The goal of the website was to introduce fifteen thesis books while visualizing
the curatorial direction of the show, graphic design as a re-circulation practice, digitally.

The result was the different speeds of looping divs. Each div contains different levels of information.
The top two bars are general information and the curatorial statement of the show,
and the very bottom bar is navigation to search a specific person’s thesis book. When one name is clicked,
the middle div with images of the books is rotating fast and stops at the person’s thesis book.

To expand the distribution of the books outside this website,
all thesis book title is linked to Are.na archive where the full PDF book is available to download.
