Ji Kim is a visual experience & interaction designer specializing at the intersection of spatial tech, luxury retail, and interactive storytelling. Backed by a strong foundation in graphic design and experience in brand R&D, I transform emerging tech into elegant, high-touch physical and digital experiences.
Previously, I was part of a design R&D team in a global brand, where she focused on creating bespoke in-person retail experiences. Currently contracting at Apple Marcom/3DX as experience designer.

Bona Drag Exhibition Graphic

Bona Drag showcased film and video works that framed drag culture within the context of the art world. The exhibition identity focused on selecting typefaces and materials that captured the flamboyant sensibility and bold attitude of cross-gender performances. The reverse-serif typeface, combined with large, colorful metallic vinyl lettering, created a striking effect in the dark gallery, sparkling under the glow of video projections.
