Cartier Aleph Hologram Digital Vitrine

2023
Cartier Retail Innovation Lab

Aleph is a hologram-based digital vitrine designed for Cartier boutiques, offering clients a unique self-service experience. As Cartier’s first self-service digital touchpoint, Aleph allows clients to interact with high-resolution, 360° holograms of rare and special jewelry pieces while waiting for a sales associate. These pieces include one-of-a-kind high jewelry, limited-edition watches, and museum artifacts.

The role of Aleph is to spark curiosity and serve as a conversation starter. Written information about each creation is displayed on the touch interface, synchronized with the hologram, and designed in a concise, museum-caption style. For further details, sales associates assist clients after their interaction with Aleph.

I contributed to the second version of Aleph by redesigning the touch interface UI to enhance usability and better integrate with the hologram display. My work included redesigning the screen interface, reprioritizing features, refining the UI and interaction flow, and creating CMS asset guidelines for project scaling.
